The directors of a pre-school in Santa Monica commissioned me to build a pair of barn doors to be used as a room divider. They each measured about 6’ x 8’ and were tricky to fabricate in my small garage. The day I needed more space for sanding them prior to finishing them it rained. Being on a tight schedule, I was forced to build a shelter using my truck rack and a large tarp attached to my garage door.
In order to open up the space in an upstairs hall way a customer asked me to remove a low cabinet and replace it with a railing. I was able to find suitable matches for the balusters and newel post to create a looks-like-it-has-always-been-that-way appearance.
