Often is the case that builders simply put the shower head too low for most people. When customers have their homes re-piped they will request the head be moved up. On acrylic tubs this leaves a big, ugly hole. No problem. With modern compounds and a little bit of effort I can make the hole disappear.
The directors of a pre-school in Santa Monica commissioned me to build a pair of barn doors to be used as a room divider. They each measured about 6’ x 8’ and were tricky to fabricate in my small garage. The day I needed more space for sanding them prior to finishing them it rained. Being on a tight schedule, I was forced to build a shelter using my truck rack and a large tarp attached to my garage door.
